What do you think of this post?
Is it good? Is it bad? Is it weird? I can't tell. I've been contemplating posting it. I'm not sure if I like it or not. Nevertheless, it's another attempt at a self-portrait and i'm struggling to get better taking them. I guess this is the purpose of my blog: to hear what you guys think. Leave your thoughts.

ReplyDeletemy thoughts on self portraits: they're usually uneffective when made to seem candid but are actually posed. we as the viewer would understand this picture to be candid if someone else took it, but because we know it was you, we know it's not. but it's still made to seem that way. see how that doesn't work? it either has to be candid (as in jumping or some sort of action shot captured by your camera on a timer) or posed intention. good colors!
